Iron Man 2 is a 2010 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of from Marvel Studios and Paramount Pictures. It is the follow-up to 2008's Iron Man, and the second film in a planned trilogy. Jon Favreau directed this film that stars Robert Downey Jr., reprising his role as Tony Stark.

Tony Stark has disclosed his character as Iron Man and is defying calls by the United States government to renounce the technology, while Ivan Vanko, who has second copy to his technology, creates new challenges for Stark.

The film premiered in Los Angeles, California, on April 26, 2010 and in France on April 28, 2010. It is due to be released in the United States on May 7, 2010.
